Week 11 — Student Choice — Part 4
I think my strengths in my Part 1 was the form of the idea and building soft colors. I think my weaknesses in Part 1 are that the color for the water kinda bled and I hate how it wasn’t laid onto the paper correctly. There were also a lot of smudges where the fins and the body should have been but I couldn’t prevent them because of how dark the background was. The feedback I got from my classmates wasn’t very constructive, but I made sure to emphasize more on what they praised me on. This time I added more details and definition to the body of the koi fishes, as well as more concentrated colors so it wouldn’t look too muted. My second draft was definitely more successful because it looks more lively, while my first draft was really boring and muted and static looking.
